Buoyancy

by Phillip Warner

This applet enables you to see the buoyant forces involved between a fluid and two objects. Included is the mass, weight, and depth of the objects, and the buoyant force the fluid exerts on the objects. Compare the different forces, such as weight as opposed to buoyant force. Assume that the gaseous objects are the gas contained in an infinitely thin, massless, hollow sphere. The depth of the fluid is 100 meters.
